Tony Accurso, a prominent Quebec millionaire, has put his luxury yacht, Touch, up for sale at a price of $7.9 million. The sale comes as part of efforts to resolve his significant tax debt. Accurso, known for his successful yet controversial construction companies, faces federal tax evasion charges linked to improper business expense claims.

One of his companies wrongfully claimed $1.7 million in yacht-related expenses as business deductions. As a result, two of his firms pleaded guilty to tax evasion charges. They have agreed to pay $4.1 million in owed taxes, plus an additional $4.1 million in fines, all due by next summer. Proceeds from the sale of the 120-foot yacht will cover these costs.
